Life Drawing Session 1 & 2

For our first life drawing session we were given some charcoal and made studies of our model of various 1 minute, 5 minute and 15 minutes sketches to grasp the basics of poses and proportion.

For our second life drawing session we then had to try out some different drawing techniques such as scribble drawing and again creating a series of studies across various time frames of 1-15 minutes. We also had to try out a new media of pencil along with charcoal and found that pencil is a lot harder and slower to draw with than charcoal but is really effective when creating scribble drawings. We also created one drawing where we had to go around the room clockwise 5 times and amends others drawings. My favourites out of this session was my scribble drawings as I feel they turned out really well and show the pose off clearly whilst trying out a new and more messy style that I wouldn't normally draw in.
